Working and investing in robotics

I grew up in a Peruvian village on the edge of the Amazon rainforest. After graduating from a German gymnasium in Italy, I pursued my BSc in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich. During that time I worked at the Robotic Systems Lab under Marco Hutter, building multifunctional robots for lunar lava-tube exploration. Since then I have been working on quadrupedal locomotion, exploring hierarchical reinforcement learning and adversarial methods that leverage human data to learn locomotion for a custom-built humanoid. I also enjoy backing founders in robotics and AI, several of whom have gone on to raise from YC, A*, and Founderful.
